Todays Lipperland-cannery was founded in 1848 with the brand "Lubella" by Friedrich Büker in Lage.
First the production began with the drying of potatoe crisps especially for the provision of the population of Berlin during the Blockade by the Sovjets.
In 1950 there started the production of tinned vegetable, nowadays the main business field of  Lipperland. By continual modernization of the production plant and of the equipment and developing of innovative production processes accompanied by increasing of production capacities the company evolved into one of the leading canned kale producers of Germany.
By permanent improvemet of production processes we succeeded to enter into possession leading-edge technology with unique characteristics.Only by this technology the production of high-end can be ensured.

The outstanding quality of Lipperland canned goods is already honoured with different awards.
